About Me

Hiya! I’m Bri. Like the Cheese without the E.

While modeling for my uncle, Michael Harris, I became interested in taking pictures. I asked him, “How do you make me look so good?” He then took me under his wing and taught me everything about photography. From focusing on the subject to learning my camera, I have developed (haha! Photo Pun!) as an artist and person through the lens.

I love to photograph anything that grabs my attention. Sports are one of them. I was a bench warmer growing up. Instead of getting upset about not playing, I learned to use my eye to study the players’ movements. I use this skill I have and take the time to learn as much as I can about the sport, that way I know where the action shots will be. This helped me improve my attention to detail. For my fine art works, I am motivated by memories of my childhood, documenting people’s lives, and the unknown. If I have a strong emotion to a place, person, or idea, I have to photograph it.

People inspire me. Life inspires me. I hope to make an impact and laugh at corny jokes along the way.

Today, I am a Travel Manager with degrees in English, Photography, and a minor in Art History from Illinois State University.
